Droooooool. Seriously.

I am trying so hard not to fall for these. I have a hard time justifying suede shoes - even though I am in lust with the shape! L.u.s.t!

Available @ ShopBop for $180.

I love shoes with interesting shapes and details. The zipper back attracted me to these shoes - three cheers for boxing day sales!

I can’t wear them today, though - it’s snowing! I want to run outside and take snowy shots with the DSLR but it’s way too cold. Instead, I will stay home and read The Lovely Bones - I want to read the book before I go see the movie.

I did not attempt to do any Boxing Day shopping today - aside from online browsing. I wish they carried my size in these D&G Cannes Classic Pumps in Red & White, especially because of the great price! They’re gorgeous :(

They remind me of a pair of Miu Miu spectators I saw and adored.
Available at Revolve Clothing for those with smaller feet.

I am infatuated with my new Macbook Pro. One of my favourite things is the Photobooth - I’ve had webcams attached to my last 3 or so laptops (work ones included), but for some reason, it’s waaaay more fun playing with the Macbook one.
Yes, I’m one of those consumers. I fall for everything.

I had never heard of Pedder Red before - and I’m still kind of struggling with what their story is all about. From what I gather (c/o my Google-fu) is that Pedder Red is a retail store in Hong Kong with an in-house brand of shoes (Pedder Red) - among other brands.

I found these at the newly renovated Queen Street Bay store, on the same floor as The Room (which is a story in itself - having Esprit and Balmain on the same floor is a trip).

The boots were pretty pricey, but for how unique they are, I figured it’d be a decent investment.

Jeans: Second clothing Yoga Jeans, Boots: Pedder Red studded lace-up boots
There was a pair of fierce Pedder Red suede wedge booties with buckles that I was prancing around in, also, but I couldn’t commit to taking care of the suede. I had a heart to heart with the sales associate (who was incredibly helpful - does an environment like that room change the way SA’s interact with customers?) about the struggle (wedges vs. boots) but in the end, the boots seemed like the practical choice.
Although, I did put the wedges on hold - and have the SA’s business card to arrange pick-up… Must.. resist…
This lovely girl has the pair of suede wedges that I tried on - they’re definitely not for the faint at heart! But they’re soooo gorgeous… and oh so comfortable! They’re like a cross of the Same Edelman booties (on Fashion Toast) and Chloe Sevigny meets Balmain.

These are my new loves :) Well, one of my new loves… you’ll see my other love soon enough! My obsession with shoes is sick - and awesome at the same time.

I can’t find these online anywhere (outside of it’s sister distant cousin over at Endless). Obvious difference is the material (mine are all leather) and the heel (mine are pretty thick - which I didn’t like, at first, but the comfort factor changed my mind).

Stockings: Silk back & front seam stockings, Skirt: Tiered knee-length by Scarlett Nite, Shoes: Modern Vintage
I found a compilation of “Rap’s Top 500 Songs” - I forgot how much I loved Lost Boyz - “Renee“. It’s pretty rare nowadays to find a rapper spit hot fire like that. :)

I have a really big soft spot for cap-toed shoes. I don’t know what it is! It just seems so classic. Today, Shoeaholics Anonymous posted Leighton Meester wearing a pair of Lanvin cap toed slingbacks, and I want them.

On sale at Barneys for $454.93. That’s one helluvah discount, but considering unemployments gone up over the last month, it’s probably not the smartest buy. I can dream, though.

I haven’t blogged anything in a minute! Not sure what I want to do with the blog… I think it will continue to document all the pretty things :)
Doing some light online browsing before I start my day (yes, it’s kind of late, but this past week has been hella crazy) - and stumbled on these hot demi-wedges from Loeffler Randall!

They’re available on the Nordstrom website for $595. I’ve been looking for a decent replacement for my flats as the weather has been getting chillier.

Where did the summer go? I think Toronto experienced summer for a total of 2 weeks this year. I don’t really mind that all too much, cause I am not a fan of humidity and sweat, but seeing boots fill up store shelves isn’t making me happy, either.
(don’t get me wrong, I love me a good boot)
I am stressed out with work, so I thought I’d do some online window shopping to ease my mind - and I stumbled across these beauties!

Pour la Victoire wedge boots @ Victoria’s Secret. The leather looks amazingly soft - and I looove wedge boots. I want to touch them. Alas, I don’t feel comfortable buying boots online without trying them on first - so I guess I am on a hunt for these babies.
In slightly unrelated news, I also purchased a pair of Calvin Klein comfort shoes - a pair of black kid leather pointy toe shoes in a medium height (probably about 2-3 inches). For some reason, it took a lot of reasoning to get them because they aren’t as crazy a shoe as I’d like, but they feel like I am wearing flats. I need to tell myself that I don’t need to wear crazy sexy 5-inch heels in order to feel great - but I can’t help it!! :)
