Stole this from Tormentosa. Wow, two non-blackberry picture posts in one day! That’s got to be some sort of record for me :)

* Name the item of clothing that has been with you the longest:

2 merino wool cardigans I purchased about 3-4 years ago (one black and one maroon). Surprisingly, they were very cheap (in price) and I really didn’t think they’d hold up for this long.

* Other than jeans, what’s an article of clothing that you can’t live without?

Jackets - everything from winter jackets/coats, trenches, leather bombers, blazers - and more!

* What was the last item of clothing you bought?

A pair of Chip & Pepper jeans in medium wash (see photo above) about half an hour ago. I really am not good at this whole “saving money” thing. Can’t go wrong with denim, though!

* Describe your perfect winter & summer footwear:

Winter: Boots, warm boots.
Summer: Flats, especially with ankle wraps (cute). I hate flipflops (and don’t wear them unless I’m on vacation or at the beach) - think of how dirty your feet get!

* And what’s a brand you wouldn’t recommend?

Mexx - I’m fairly certain it’s a Canadian company (correct me if I’m wrong) but every single time I have gone into that store to buy work clothing, the fabric is always so scratchy and there are always loose threads!

* What’s the ugliest trend of all time?

Crop tops/belly shirts. Wtf? Nobody needs to see that shit, yo.

* And the best?

Leather. Period. ;)

* What was your biggest fashion faux-pas?

I bought a pair of Uggs 2 years ago. I’m sorry.

* What colors predominate in your wardrobe?

Black, grey and fuchsia (so hot together, too).

* What are your vintage shopping strategies?

Will only do vintage accessories (excluding earrings, of course). Cannot accept the idea of wearing someone else’s clothes that they was once in contact with sweat, pores, dead skin and other bodily fluids.

* What’s the most insane piece of clothing that you have ever owned?

A silver-sequined platform espadrille. Yeah, I’m not sure either. Never wore them, ever.

* If you could describe the majority of the clothes you own in one word, what would it be?

Aggressive.

10 Things

And because Leo asked so nicely for me to blog to cure his boredom woes…. I’m hopping on the 10 things bandwagon. So this week, it’s 10 random things about me. Cause, I know you’re probably interested. ;) 

1. I probably wash my hands at least 5x before I leave my house in the morning.
2. I am gullible and often fall into marketing traps. Always.
3. It runs in the family (I believe), but I have a huge, massive temper. Although, I rarely ever get mad enough to go straight up Hulk.
4. I used to work at a poker company but I can’t win a hand of poker if my life depended on it (except, I think I beat you the very first time we ever played poker, Leo!! haha)
5. Gets very annoyed when people tell her what to do. 
6. My gym iPod rotation often includes Pussycat Dolls, Beyonce and Britney Spears - but am too cool to admit this outside of a quirky meme ;)
7. I have more male friends than female friends. I chalk this up to the fact that I am in the IT industry, and when I was a software developer, 100% of my peer developers were male. 
8. I am ultra competitive. Like, ultra. And when I am not succeeding, I am frustrated. 
9. Thinks you should send me your blog… I love reading new blogs :) And if you don’t have a blog, you should get one. 
10. Realistic video games scare me. Give me bubbly cartoony characters over bloody zombies anyday. Except, I only play The Sims, so… problem solved!

Oh, Monday!

A Monday meme… cause we all love those! 

Outfit: 
Black & white striped Tee from Club Monaco, a black wool cardigan, dark blue Hudson jeans, black socks and black Diesel sneakers. I do not have the energy to look nice today! I have plenty of sneezes, though.

Music: 
Beyonce’s “I am” album. I blame JT! [check out this youtube if you don't know what i'm talking about!]

Weekend accomplishment: 
I ordered 2 bikini’s last week and they came in - on Sunday! What the heck was the Canada Post doing working on Sunday? Oh well, that’s one thing out of the way! Also, I bought my fourth pair of boots for this season - and I’m done. I needed waterproof, gripped boots that I can wear during the really crappy snowy days… I opted for Blondo rider boots.  They were on sale :)

Goals for the week:  
Get a crackin’ on some books! Also, try to get in at least 4 more gym visits. Vacation time is just around the corner - and now I’ve got the bikini’s to make me really nervous! 

My ipod battery is dead and I am very sad about that. And now, I will go eat my lunch :)
