I am kind of surprised with the collaboration that surfaced recently - Douglas Coupland designed a few wearable items and accessories for Roots.. I have read a few of his books, so while I’m surprised an author decided to take on this type of assignment, I’m pleased with some of the pieces that he’s come up with. It’s very true to his nature.
Oooh, circuit-board skirt, scarf and leggings! I think at the very least, the skirt (and the scarf) will have to be added to my closet.
Also… Hey! It’s been a while. I’m still here! I’m trying not to melt in this humid, hot, awful mess of a city… and I have been in hiding since Bieber/Earthquake/G20/Blackout. Oh, Toronto - so full of surprises.
I did not attempt to do any Boxing Day shopping today - aside from online browsing. I wish they carried my size in these D&G Cannes Classic Pumps in Red & White, especially because of the great price! They’re gorgeous :(
They remind me of a pair of Miu Miu spectators I saw and adored.
I am struggling with trying to figure out how to remove vocals from mp3’s using Audacity or somethingsomething. Can Adobe Soundbooth do it? I’m not sure. Investigation to be continued…
I am going to go try to start my day. I was restless around the house for a while, couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get my day started. Figured it out eventually. It’s called coffee and it feels warm and wonderful in my belly. Only 2 weeks until Christmas! Redonkulous.
In true geeky form, I am in love with Matthew Williamson’s Digital Tapestry Print Scarf. It’s filled with pixelly goodness! And, it’s 50% off at theOutnet.com! Mmmm!

Hope you’re all enjoying your Sunday wherever you are - I used to despise Sundays because it meant that I was just closer to the next school/work day, but I am finally learning to embrace it. The weather’s gorgeous over here in Toronto - so I am headed outside to enjoy it :)
I love leather & studs… so I know I must own this. One day. Stupid recession.
The Rebecca Minkoff Studded Devote bag. You can buy it on the Rebecca Minkoff site (or ShopBop) for a mild $695. If only I knew any retailers in Toronto that sold this bag - I would grope it.
I was dancing around the apartment late last week after I bought those beauties. I have a slight thing for studs, leather and zipper (for my accessories) - but don’t get the wrong impression! ;)
Boyfriend & I were walking down the street a few days ago, and he had some sort of epiphany.
“Wait, I get it,” he says, “I know why you girls love your shoes so much!”
“Why is that?”
“No matter how you’re feeling, how you’re looking, weight gained or lost, you can always fit into your shoes,” he proclaims.
I think I may have had a tear in my eye. He’s learning so well ;)
