Now a whopping 9 months old. See him here @ 9 weeks old. Oh how he’s grown… but still cute as a button!

Yeah, hi! It’s me, pretty cupcake. I’m still around - sort of.
I can’t believe it’s been almost 4 months since my last post and almost nothing has changed.
That’s a lie - I’m another year older! Wiser, too, I’d like to think. And probably fatter. See that delicious deep fried paczki up there? That was my birthday cake. I spent my birthday with my favourite boys (fiance & puppy) at St Lawrence Market, eating deep friend deliciousnesses and enjoying the not-snowy-weather.
It’s a funny thing that my knees ache and I have this strange addiction to arts & crafts.
I have immersed myself in wedding planning, and have spent many a night (tonight included) agonizing over the tiniest, littlest detail… but gosh, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I am totally and utterly addicted. I don’t know what I’m going to do when the day is done and over with! Withdrawals, probably. Withdrawals in the form of paczki.
But don’t fret, pretty things! I am still addicted to shoes… although I mostly just look nowadays. With the exception of the present to myself… that deserves its own post… but probably not anytime soon :)
So there you go.
Hope you’re all holding up! See you all in a few months ;) Heh.
It’s been a while…. holidays have come and gone. A new year has started. A puppy has found a new home.
Meet Bailey! Our newest family member. He is a 9 week old Morkie (Maltese & Yorkshire Terrier) and he weighs about 4lbs. He’s the sweetest little pup I have ever laid my eyes on - and he’s so smart! I was never much of an animal person, but he has certainly converted me into a dog lover.
I feel like Maison Martin Margiela should have a doggie line…. no?
Also, I heart Cesar Millan. Dreamboat.
If I had a wishlist, that is.
I’m finding good company is much better than things on wishlists these days.
BB Dakota Bayfield jacket
*NYC Boutique “Shameless top”
Dolce Vita Mica dress
NYC Boutique draped shearling jacket
Ash Rebel boot
I’m just wrapping up the gift buying now, so I can’t indulge just yet. Sadface. I am really eyeing that DV dress and the Ash booties… love.

Good Sunday morning, blogpeeps! I have yet to go outside, but I am already enjoying my Sunday. So far, it has consisted of a cup of coffee, attempting to wake up the fiancé (mission failed), backing up some of my old photos onto my external hard drive, and listening to Tricky. Not bad for 9:30am on a Sunday.
I was doing some my regular blog reading, and Bag Craze posted new photos of Balenciaga’s Spring 2011 bags - and I’m not sure how I feel about them. This one in particular:
Hmmm… does it remind anyone else of a Manta Ray?
I may be the only person to think this, but this means that this is one Balenciaga bag that I will not drool over (the Holt Renfrew people are probably sick of following me around with a washcloth anyways).
Sources: Balenciaga image from Bag Craze; Manta Ray photo from a random Flickr album.
Random Pretty Cupcake Fact: I think Manta Rays are creepy.
A couple photos from my iPhone over the last few weeks (excuse the stupid poses).
Michael Kors dress, Alexander McQueen cashmere scarf, Salvatore Ferragamo flats.
I like this look. Except that the dress was kind of short, but the black opaque tights made it not so… risque.
Jacob plaid bow skirt, Michael Kors sweater & scarf.
I looooove this sweater/scarf set. They are separate pieces that come as one, so I can wear the scarf whenever I want, and I can wear the sweater (crew neck) (fits amazingly) whenever I want. I want more of these!!
And lastly…
Alice + Olivia cardigan that I adore.
Hmm. Looking back at these outfits, it would seem that I like things that layer in front of me (like scarves or a wrappy-fun cardigan).
I love fall :)
This post is way overdue, but I wanted to post a few of the sights. If I could describe Paris in one word, it would be: LARGE.

Everything in Paris seems larger than life.
Paris was also my last hurrah of the shopping happiness for a while - now that I’ve got a wedding to pay for. And lots of trips coming up in the next few years. I feel so grown up.

Arc de Triomphe

Chateau de Versailles

A car we found on our way to Les Invalides - it was actually touching both cars. I’m not sure how that guy will ever get out, but it made for a good chuckle.
I regret that I didn’t take pictures of the food… so many carbs!
The Parisians dress very chic, and I noticed that my pair of jeans made me feel like I was wearing jogging pants. I can’t blame them, though - the shopping there was a-maz-ing - likely my favourite part of the trip. OHSOGOOD.
Au revoir, Europa! We’ll see you when the weather warms :)

What a beautiful city! I didn’t think I would love it as much as I do - pre-vacation, I was anticipating more fun in Paris, and was hoping that the week in Prague would be spent sitting, full and slightly inebriated. I was all kinds of wrong.
While the beer and the wine was cheap and plentiful, you can only really take in so much during the breaks between the walking. Oh, the walking. So much walking! But I’m glad, because there is so much to see that is conveniently only a walk away (the length of the walk, however, varies).

The first few days were rainy and cold, but it was okay because I was in a beautiful city with a wonderful man and a visit from his gracious family.
To top off this week, my Boyfriend proposed in front of the Astronomical Clock in Old Town… What an amazing way to remember this week of my life!

I was incredibly sad to go - I miss those streets way more than one should miss a street. Prague is a place that is underrated and should you get the chance to visit, please do! The beer is cheap ;)
He’s got his eye on you.

I’m glad there’s an option out there for a really pretty camera bag that doesn’t scream total tourist. Billingham is my new bestie!
