Oh, Google, themes are what you deliver?

Now, don’t get me wrong. I love me some google. Love. I even use shared calendars and shared documents at work - and goodness gracious, it has definitely improved productivity tenfold.

However, dear Google, I question your priorities.

I opened up my Gmail inbox this afternoon to find an interesting surprise:

It’s pretty and all… the themes are fun and add a little punch but…

What about the ability to integrate TODO’s and your calendar items right into your emails? Or vice-versa? What about the ability to mark items as high priority? What about notifications? Surely, “themes” weren’t at the top of the list, were they?

Sigh.

Now I will go revert my theme back to the good old blue version.

I think otherwise. I am very pleased with the themes!

Call me boring but I’m using the most boring, gray, minimalistic theme.
I get all depressed everytime I open my gmail but I want to keep it like that because I check my email at work too so it looks plain and professional. Hehehe.
