RIP McQueen.

I know, he died almost a month ago. I’m late. This is usual (but not cause I hate being tardy for the party, it’s a pet peeve of mine).

I really, really, really want an Alexander McQueen knuckle duster ring. Okay, so I kinda wanted one before he died, but now that he’s gone, I realized how awesome and unique they are! And oh so very sold out.. EVERYWHERE.

It’s creepy and amazing at the same time.

RIP McQueen - you are sorely missed. I’m really sad that there is no one else out there that is like you.

Lipgloss addiction.

Why, MAC? Why must you create these lipglosses that I fall in love with and then they go away cause they’re only limited edition? I am going to go and buy a million of them (no, not a million, probably more like 2) and hope that it will last me a few years (probably not). In any case, I will hang out at Sephora and find a shade that is the exact same.

YSL Tribute Patent Sandals

This is on my list.

I’m not a huge fan of patent, so that’d be the only thing that would stop me from buying these (among other things… like incredibly ridiculous price).

I am obsessed with the Olympics! I can’t stop watching it - I don’t know where this this patriotism is coming from. I had no real interest in it until I watched the opening ceremonies - and now I am rocking the red mittens. I wish I had athletic talent!

Yoga classes! Crow pose.

I did Crow pose yesterday! Check it out. Okay, I held it for 1ms but STILL. This pose is on my list of 101 things to do in the next 1001 days. It was terrifying but yet still kind of exciting. It was probably one of the hardest yoga classes I have ever been to, but that will not stop me from going again tonight.

Also, I am really sucking at this photo a day thing. Sucking.

Monday’s suck.

The client sends me an issue:

“This is a bug. Very hard to reproduce, root cause still unknown. Please fix.”

Seriously?

I remedy my shit Monday with this video. SO HILARIOUS. And I’m going to go home and attempt to attend a yoga class…. and then drink a lot.

Also, my friends are wonderful and uber talented - I was reminded of that this weekend :)

Random Musings.

- I have spent a ton of money buying books for my Kindle. Damn the convenience of buying books over the air!

- However, I had to ride the subway for at least an hour of my life yesterday and the Kindle kept me company - I was able to read various books with a click of a button. It kept me occupied while I tried to avoid the crazies.

- Oh help me, I hate side plank. It’s so hard! And my yoga instructor made us do it twice last night. TWICE.

- I normally don’t rock patterns, but I am looking for a dress/skirt/shirt/scarf/anything with roses on them. I feel like roses and lace are my new loves.

- Cool/geeky conversation at the office (if you can figure out what we’re talking about, bonus points!):

Dude-A: “In just 9 years, we’ll have Nexus Sixes.”
Dude-B: “And that’s a Nexus One!” *points to device Dude-A is holding*
Dude-A: “No. This is not an Android. It runs Android.”

- It is girl brunch this weekend! And I am SO EXCITED.

Best conversation with Boyfriend I have ever had.

I walk into the bedroom where my sick boyfriend is laying and watching television, with his laptop on his lap.

Me: “Hey, how’re you feeling?”
Him: “Did you know that Tommy Ton is working with the Sartorialist guy?”

I’m so proud that he knows who they are. Sort of.
